Company History
INO Therapeutics' R&D group in Madison evolved from an alliance formed in Dec 1999 between INO Therapeutics Inc of Clinton NJ and Madison based Datex-Ohmeda. Datex-Ohmeda had developed its INOvent delivery system, an integrated unit that both administered and monitored nitric oxide inhalation therapy, which could deliver INO's INOmax nitric oxide. In 2007, Ikaria Holdings acquired INO Therapeutics. In 2015, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals acquired Ikaria.
